Last week, I blitzed my friends, family, and healthcare design industry contacts on social media and through email to watch the first video in The C.A.R.E. Channel Story Project.
So, if you're sick of hearing about it, I apologize. And, if you watched the video and shared it with others, I thank you.
The video is about Matt Hankey, who, at age 16, was an average teenager. He went to school, had homework, and spent most of his free time hanging out with friends at a local skate park.
But a few years ago, after a fine day of skateboarding, Matt went to bed with a simple headache and woke up paralyzed.
While in the hospital, Matt discovered The C.A.R.E. Channel, which helped him cope with his situation and gave him hope for the future. This is his story.
The Story Project was my idea and I’m so proud of the way it was executed by the Healing HealthCare Systems team. I'm also proud of this little company that is making such a big difference in the lives of patients in more than 800 healthcare facilities every day.
If you like it, please share on your social networks or with friends through email. I want this video to go viral! 269 views and counting.
